Rustic Wedding Venues Northern California
Earlier this year Sonia and Drew hosted their beautiful rustic wine country wedding here at Mountain House Estate. Sonia spent her morning in the Oasis, relaxing and getting ready for her wedding day which began with the couple’s First Look.
The bride looked amazing in a long flowing wedding gown with a lace bodice, sweetheart neckline, and crystal-embellished belt. She chose to wear her hair up and incorporate flowers that matched the blooms in her bridal bouquet. The stonework and blooming gardens at the front of the property made a beautiful backdrop for their First Look and some time alone.
The couple exchanged their wedding vows in a wonderful outdoor ceremony at Oak Tree Terrace where Drew barely held back tears.
Guests made their way indoors where the Grand Ballroom was set with long reception tables draped in crisp white linen, with the couple’s sweetheart table at one end of the room. The tables were set with gold charger plates layered with white china and rust wood slices assigning each guest’s seat. Long ropes of greenery accented with rose gold candle holders and flowers in pale pink and lavender stretched the length of the tables. Sonia and Drew’s sweetheart table was flanked by two large floral arrangements from their wedding ceremony that rested on wooden barrels.
The couple enjoyed their first dance before a delicious multicourse dinner and then wandered into the bar for an evening of dancing and sweet treats.
Their two-tiered wedding cake was decorated with fresh flowers and an adorable custom-designed cake topper. The L-shaped bar displayed their wedding cake as well as an assortment of bite-sized desserts including profiteroles, lemon bars, S’mores bars, macaroons as well as chocolate and funfetti mini cupcakes.
The dessert display along with a gelato cart with over a half dozen flavors kept guests energized for a full night of dancing and fun with the photo booth!
