Dancing Into the Night
wedding venue California Jewish
Anna and Nikita, a couple from San Francisco whose families are originally from the Ukraine and Russia, created an anything-but-traditional Jewish wedding at our Northern California wedding venue. Nikita and the groomsmen dressed for some prewedding photos, exploring the property while the ladies finished dressing.
Anna and the ladies spent the morning in the Oasis where Nikita joined her for their first look followed by the Ketubah signing and some light refreshments in the ready room.
The couple and their family made their way to the estate’s front lawn where their birchwood Chuppah was draped in soft fabric and accented with brightly colored flowers.
How adorable is their ring bearer walking Anna and Nikita’s dog?
The outdoor Jewish wedding ceremony included the blessing of the wine, family, and friends reciting the Seven Blessings, and the couple being bound together with a beautifully hand embroidered tallit. The couple chose “I Choose You” by Sarah Bareilles to be played after their first kiss as they exited the reception.
Following the wedding ceremony, guests were invited into the Grand Ballroom for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres before making their way onto the patio for dinner.
The patio was set with tables coved with lavender linen, deep purple napkins, and incredible multi-colored floral arrangements in gold containers. These brilliant arrangements in hot pink, purple, bright yellow, light blue, and shades and of red and burgundy were bright and cheery.
Following the HaMotzi, the traditional breaking of the bread, some very touching toasts, and a hora, everyone ate, drank, and danced until the wee hours of the morning. Anna and Nakita had extended the reception until 2 am with dancing outside on the patio and inside in the great room.
Congratulations Anna and Nikita! Mazel Tov!
