Lynne and Elliot are a couple who are truly beautiful inside and out. And our Mountain House Estate team loved working with them and especially seeing how much they are in love with each other. Lynne’s wedding dress was too, too sweet. A portion of her wedding gown under the lace was taken from her mother’s wedding gown from 1947. The fabric was lovingly preserved by family and incorporated into a beautiful custom gown.

Extremely spiritual people, Lynne and Elliot chose a ceremony in the round on the front lawn of Mountain House Estate, with the pond and fountain as its backdrop. After the space was blessed and cleansed a beautiful floral arch was constructed in the center of the seating.

Lynne was escorted to the far side of the ceremony space by her brothers while she was being serenaded by the groom-to-be. Elliot made his way to the ceremony space where he and Lynne arrived from opposite directions until they both met.  He then escorted her to the center of the circle.

Their incredible and very touching wedding ceremony included comments from friends, mentors, and family as well as some beautifully spoken words between the couple.

After the wedding ceremony guests enjoyed a cocktail reception where they were invited to leave a message on the couple’s video diary. Suggested topics were “things about the couple that inspires me, we love you both because, and here’s what I want for Lynne / Elliot.”

Guests also participated in fun interactive games to find out what they had in common, as many were meeting for the first time.

Dinner was served on the patio under a canopy of canvass umbrellas and market lights. The space was dressed in off white linen, sage napkins and floral arrangement in soft peach, cream, and orange.

The dance party that followed was the most fun ever! The Dick Bright Band was outstanding, playing hand-selected songs mostly from the late ’60s and early ’70s.  Young and old alike danced the night away – literally, no one sat down!

Congratulations Lynne and Elliot, we wish you a lifetime of happiness and smiles.
