Katie and Nate are an incredible couple who live in Oakland and share a love of wine country, so it was only right that they host their Spring wedding at our Sonoma County wedding venue.

The couple has known each other since high school and love to surround themselves with family and friends, they love to laugh, cook and throw amazing dinner parties. So obviously their wedding would be no exception. Katie is an award-winning San Francisco Bay wedding photographer, and the couple assembled an incredible team for their wedding day.

Their March wedding invited family and friends to the Sonoma – Mendocino area for a wedding weekend that began with an intimate welcome dinner. The couple made sure to share local Cloverdale and Geyserville accommodations, local wineries, hot springs, and geysers.

Katie and Nate each enjoyed time with their wedding parties in our two ready rooms, prior to their first look and some wedding party portraits.

They chose to host their wedding ceremony at Oak Tree Terrace, exchanging wedding vows under a contemporary metal chuppah decorated with beautiful grasses and greenery. They ended their wedding ceremony with a traditional breaking of a glass.

Guests enjoyed a delicious cocktail reception on the lawn while Katie and Nate wandered the Mountain House Estate grounds for their wedding portraits.

The outdoor wedding reception on The Patio was decorated with terracotta vessels filled with grasses, brightly colored flowers, and surrounded by amber glass votive candles. Everyone enjoyed a scrumptious buffet farm to table dinner.

Following dinner guests made their way into The Grand Ballroom for Katie and Nate’s first dance, a traditional hora, and a night filled with laughter, dancing, and desserts.
